LEGOLAND® Billund is the original LEGOLAND® theme park, designed especially for families with children and built around the LEGO® universe. Opened in 1968, it has been entertaining visitors for decades and is particularly well suited for children aged 2–12, though guests of all ages can enjoy the experience. The park features more than 45 rides, themed lands, and over 80 million LEGO® bricks, offering a full day (or more) of entertainment.

Opening Times

  • Main season usually runs from spring (around late March/early April) until late autumn (often October or early November).

  • 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM. During high season (summer), the park may stay open later (some days until 19:00 / 20:00).  

  • In winter months the park is often closed — but sometimes opens for special dates (e.g. holiday weekends, Christmas).  

  • Always check the official calendar before visiting — opening times and open days can vary due to weather or maintenance.

Billund is located around 260 km from Copenhagen, and many families choose to fly into or stay in Copenhagen before visiting Legoland® Billund. Traveling with children, luggage, and strollers can make public transport or standard taxis inconvenient.
